Affiliate disclosure

01Where a commission can arise

Plainly put by hoopschamps: This site contains affiliate links. We may earn a commission if you follow a link and make a booking/purchase or download, at no extra cost to you. (Hoopschamps footnote.)

Any "Check availability" button might pass through tracking from a partner network. Reserve a room after following it and the hotel or network may pay us a share; your rate is unaffected. Each of those outbound links carries the rel="sponsored" attribute.

02Our publisher's position

The company that owns hoopschamps.com operates a casino venue in Chester, Pennsylvania. With no hotel rooms there, the venue has no place on a hotel board, and none of the ten properties belongs to the company. Tropicana and Caesars, both on the Atlantic City Boardwalk, report to that same parent, Caesars Entertainment, and admit it through a "Sister property (same parent group)" tag. Commission revenue funds the site, and the publisher has every commercial reason to want visitors in the region.

03What commission cannot buy

No fee secures a listing or a higher position. Some hotels on the board pay us nothing at all, and every line of copy is our own; no hotel writes or approves it.
