01The parties

Using hoopschamps.com means accepting these terms, offered by Harrah's Chester Downs Management Company, LLC, 777 Harrah's Boulevard, Chester, PA 19013. The company operates a casino venue in Chester, Pennsylvania, which has no rooms to rent and is therefore left off the list; the ten hotels are not its property. Two hotels run by its parent group appear with a sister-property label. Partner commission keeps hoopschamps.com running, and our publisher profits whenever travellers pick this part of Pennsylvania and New Jersey.

02Fair use

Browse freely, cite a sentence or two alongside a link to the source page, and forward entries to whoever is plotting the trip with you. Scrapers, bulk mirrors, attempts to knock the pages offline and unlawful schemes are all forbidden.

03Age

Readers must have turned 18; in places whose laws put a 21-year minimum on the subjects or facilities described, that later birthday applies instead. Hotels fix their own reception age limits, independently of us.

04A guide, not a booking desk

Scope at hoopschamps: Our site provides information exclusively about accommodation, resort leisure and travel amenities. We do not promote or facilitate participation in gambling. (Hoopschamps house rule.)

Entries record our understanding of each hotel's own published material on the date shown at the top. They are not offers, and no room is held for anyone.

05Hotels and booking platforms

Every hotel and booking platform reached from this site is a separate business, and we answer for none of their rates, price changes, resort fees, taxes, deposits, cancellation conditions, service or website content. Your reservation is a deal struck with the hotel or platform that accepts it; hoopschamps is not a party.

06Who owns the words and drawings

The text, page design, monogram panels and route sketches are the publisher's work. Hotel names identify the properties and stay the trademarks of whoever holds them.

07Limits on our responsibility

Within whatever bounds the law sets, hoopschamps.com is not answerable for harm flowing from reliance on an entry or from a service someone else delivers.

08Applicable law

The laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, United States, govern these terms, and its courts hear any dispute, without removing protections the consumer law of your home country may give you.
